Celler Mas Gran... Mas Gran negre 2006 60% garnach, 20% tempranillo, 20% syrah. Annual production 52.000 bottles. 13,5 % vol.Fermented in stainless-steel tanks. Maceration during 28 days.Old vineyards, manual harvest, controlled-temperature fermentation with long macerations.Rather intense cherry red. Fine aroma and ripe fruit. Full mouth, rich in fruit expression and nuances with very well harmonised, exceeding its nose, savory, persistent.
Mas Gran blanca 2006 80% garnacha, 20% macabeuAnnual production 8.000 bottles. 13,5 % vol.Fermented in stainless-steel tanks. Maceration during 20 days. Controlled temperature fermentation, at a maximum of 28ºCVery gentle filtration and clearness.The final result is a white wine with a persistent aroma, good structure, full wine and therefore good with food and fish. Mas Gran crianza 2005 negre 55% Garnacha negre, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% syrah, 10% Cariñena, 5% Tempranillo. Annual production 7.500 bottles. 14% vol. Mas Gran crianza is aged for 14 months in French Allier oak barriques from the best French barrique making companies. 60% are brand new and 40% are 1 year old. Old vineyards (started 1939), manual harvest. The plaet is packed with red fruit, black currant, cassis character, with power depth and weight of fruit. Intense red, fine aroma, full mouth, herbs and more. This wine can be enjoyed at the present time, but will continue to improve over a period of 15 years. Therefore good with red meat, (ground) game, red deer, lamb chops.
