About
Celler Ardèvol...
In 1995 we started our new plantations, and we decided to materialize
the feelings for our land and roots, creating a small family winery. Our
soils are poor, they are appropiately exposed to the sun; the varieties
we have selected are very low in production and of high genetic quality.
Tasks in the lands are based in organic agriculture, without aplication
of herbicides, insecticides, nor chemical fertilizers, using sulphur as
the only fungicide, and having respect for biodinamics. All this aspects
interact to elaborate the diferent musts with great concentration of colours
and aromas. Values of acidity, pH, alcohol … appropiate for producing
perfect fermentations and subsequent ageing. Long macerations and gentle
pressing are applied, ageing in French oak with light toasting and fine
grain. Our wines evoke pure natural sensations.
Coma
d'en Romeu Tinto Crianza
Aged
for 12 months in new oak barriques and one year in french Allier oak barriques.
50 % cabernet sauvignon, 20 % merlot, 20 % syrah, 10 % garnacha.
Production 3.800 b. 14,5 % vol.
Property : Coma d'en Romeu.
Deep and powerful cherry colour, elegant aromas of good oak. Great structure
and complexity in the mouth, meaty, with ripe fruit and powerfull but
ripe tannins.
Terra d´Hom Tinto Crianza
Aged
for 12 months in new oak barriques.
35% syrah, 35% merlot, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 10% garnacha.
Production 5.000 b. 14,5 % vol.
Property : Menestal.
Very intense colour, with young reflections. Open aroma combining floral
notes, orange and red pepper. In mouth it shows richness, tannicity and
density. Powerful tannins, still to round. It ends leaving a licorice
taste.
